The announcement comes more than four hours after NASA decided to haul Atlantis into its massive Vehicle Assembly Building for protection against high winds expected from Tropical Storm Ernesto now headed towards the south Florida coast. Ernesto is expected to make landfall later today and pass over the general area around KSC by Thursday.
